#1 Kit Harington (Jon Snow)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Kit’s favorite day on set was in Iceland. He was surprised by the beauty of the area. In addition, they filmed a scene with Rose Leslie, when Jon Show couldn’t kill Ygritte. She is the actress that he was most comfortable acting with. And who, as we all know, became his wife later.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
His death became, for Kit, the most shocking moment in the series. But he knew that everything was going to be ok since he hasn’t gotten a call from producers confirming the death. We weren’t so lucky when we were trying to figure out if Jon Snow would be alive. We were shocked and nervous.
#2 Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Emilia fell off a horse on her first day on set. Being a real actress, she tried to act while falling. Now she can look back and laugh when she remembers this moment, but at the time, she cried and asked them to stop filming.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Emilia likes the moment when her character was getting the Unsullied. She was able to be a bad girl for the first time and to be honest, we also like her for being so cool.
#3 Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Lena’s favorite scene is the one in which Cersei and Robert Baratheon talk about their marriage. She believes that this moment turned out to be touching and showed these heroes from another side. Really, who could expect that these 2 people would be so outspoken?
#4 Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The scene where Jaime and Brienne are sitting in the bathtub is one Nikolaj’s favorites. He liked to shoot it, but not because they were sitting in the bath naked, as some might think. This scene showed a new side of his character’s personality.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The most fun scene for Nikolaj was the one with the loot train attack. He liked being on the horse all day and was amazed with the beauty of the location where the filming took place. He felt lucky to be able to participate in such a grandiose shooting.
#5 Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Peter never really wanted to star in a fantasy series. He prefers to portray real life. However, his opinion has changed. Peter believes that this show is one of the most realistic because of the relationship between the heroes, even if dragons live alongside them.
#6 Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Sophie’s favorite day on set was the reunion day of Sansa and Arya. She remembers it as the funniest day. The girls constantly laughed and were glad that they were together again. Just like us when we saw it on screen.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The most shocking moment for Sophie was the death of Ned Stark. Remember how unexpected it was? And until the last moment we didn’t believe that it would even happen. At that moment, Sophie realized that all the characters were in jeopardy and that even the life of a favorite character could end.
#7 Maisie Williams (Arya Stark)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
When talking about the first day on set Maisie remembers throwing a pie at Sophie’s face. She was asked to get the pie right on the cheek. These memories make her laugh. And we totally understand. Food fights always bring fun.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
We’re hardly telling you a secret when we reveal that Maisie and Sophie are the best of friends off set. Therefore, it’s not surprising that her most fun day on the set was a reunion with her serial sister. The girls had a lot of fun that day and rode on Bran’s wheelchair.
#8 Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
For Isaac, one of the coolest scenes is the moment when he stood next to the Night King and the army of the dead. There were a lot of walk-ons with zombie makeup and a fan was spraying snow the whole time.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The moment with Hodor was shocking to Isaac. It was hard for him to believe it was happening. This scene was very emotional and revealed the meaning of Hodor’s stay with Bran.
#9 Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Gwendoline was very nervous before the first meeting with Nikolaj. She entered the truck to meet him and saw him sitting in a chair. He just looked at her from head to toe and asked dryly, “Yes?” Looking at their relationship now, it’s become clear that Gwendoline wasn’t offended. The actors constantly laugh together and tease each other.
#10 Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Iain’s favorite day was when they shot the gladiator contest. His little girl was there and announced the beginning and the end of the shooting. He was also impressed by the scale of the set decoration and how real it looked.
#11 Rory McCann (Sandor “The Hound” Clegane)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Rory’s favorite day was shooting the fight between the Hound and Brienne. The actors had prepared for this for a long time and we can’t deny that it was totally worth it. The fight was impressive.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Rory was shocked by the Red Wedding. He only read his part in that episode, and did not know what was happening to the others. He was very upset when he saw that mind-blowing moment. It even made him cry.
#12 John Bradley (Samwell Tarly)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The Fist of the First Men scene is John’s favorite shooting day. They filmed it in Iceland, in an incredibly beautiful location. Both the landscape and the friends made that day special.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
On the first day, John had to shoot a fight scene. Or rather, his poor fighting skills. And this was only his fourth hour in front of the camera in his entire life. The first 3 hours were in drama school.
#13 Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth)
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
The strangest scene in which Liam has ever taken part was the moment with the shadow birth. They filmed it in a cold cave. It was weird, but Liam liked what he saw on the monitor. According to him, it looked like a painting.
Game of Thrones / Via hbo.com
Liam likes the battle of the Blackwater, especially its visual aspect. And we completely agree with him. The scene was spectacular and tense.
