India is the country with largest population practicing open defecation, with 597 million people lacking access to proper sanitation facilities.

The number of smartphone users in India was estimated to reach over 748 million in 2020, with the number of smartphone users worldwide forecasted to exceed to 1.5 billion users in 2040.
