When I worked in college housing, one of the Resident Assistants who worked for me was talking with another about NYC & the different islands that make up the city.
Then she asked, “I didn’t know NYC was basically all islands. But, then how do they not all float away?” Everyone stopped & I swear I heard a record scratch.
